Extend the Life of Film-Faced Plywood (Do's and Don'ts)


Seal the edges with a special paint immediately after cutting/drilling

✗Leaving the edges unattended after cutting allows moisture to penetrate


Apply a high-quality, dedicated mold release agent before each use

Use waste engine oil or no mold release agent


Immediately after removing the formwork, clean the surface cement residue and clean it thoroughly

Do not clean it after it has accumulated for a long time. Use hard objects to scrape the surface of the formwork


Civilized formwork removal: Use professional tools to gently pry from the overlap.

Use a sledgehammer to smash, pry from the middle, and violent formwork removal.


Store indoors in a dry and flat environment, raise it up and cover it.

Store it outdoors in a random manner, exposed to the sun and rain, and in direct contact with the ground.



Check regularly, repair and re-seal minor damages.

Ignore minor damages and continue to use until they are completely damaged.
